Spring is in the air and nature is blooming all around! Unfortunately, litter along our roadways diminishes the beauty of our wonderful Town and damages the environment. In the spirit of Earth Day, the Town is excited to offer its newest litter pickup campaign- Second Saturday Service. We’re on the search for volunteers to help remove litter from our roads during the second Saturday of each month, from April 10 to Sept. 11. Volunteers can sign up for an area of their choice, as long as it falls within the Town limits. Participants will kick off the day at 8 a.m. in Walter Y. Elisha Park to collect trash bags, gloves, and vests, as well as a small gift of thanks from the Town. We’re also asking you to share your litter pick-up success stories by posting a photo of your clean-up with the hashtag #PickItUpPrideFortMIll.
